Job Description

Can you balance the people and services management alongside the leadership part? Our Team is looking for an experienced Senior Manager to lead our PaaS Operations Team in APAC.
Our APAC team consists of Delivery Consultants, responsible for:
- Service Operations: provide 1st to 3rd level support to a growing list of prestigious financial institutions.
- Service Deployment: provide engineering and deployment of infrastructure solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: identify and rationalize opportunities where performance can be optimized.
- Security and Compliance: apply in-depth procedural knowledge and insight to ensure compliance and standards.
Our clients are among the largest organizations in the financial sector. We service them through the daily operation of their Dimension installation. Our working environment is global and highly international. We focus on teamwork, collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvements.
Essential Responsibilities
To support our journey, we are looking for a leader with proven experience in similar roles and will take responsibility for:
- People Management: Ensure that employees have a solid understanding of performance requirements. Ensure optimal planning and allocation of resources. Grow, mentor, and monitor the team’s development. Ensure employee engagement and well-being. Ensure values are incorporated by being a role model of values.
- Task Management: Plan and monitor fulfillment of necessary activities at required performance levels (e.g. SLA, CSAT). Improve processes and procedures that can lead to increased employee engagement, team productivity, and quality. Ensure activities support the overall strategy. Perform other activities and duties as assigned.
- Strategic Management: Provide input for the strategic direction of PaaS. Play an active role in supporting the overall strategic direction. Ensure engagement with all the relevant parts of the organization.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain the relationships with the various stakeholders, customers, and partners. Gather the requirements and set the expectation of deliverables. Manage the escalation and resolution of critical issues that impact the use of our solution.
You will be a part of a Global Operations Management that consists of 6 Senior Managers regionally located to support a follow the sun Operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Your Qualifications
- Our preferred candidate has years of solid experience managing teams in operations from a similar position. You have a strong technical and operational foundation, but you are also a people-person by heart.
- Leading a diverse and growing organization responsible for operations, solutioning, and deployment of services.
- Operational experience with mission-critical software.
- Managed teams remotely that are highly specialized and experienced.
- Experienced with working in a global environment with a 24x7 commitment.
- Strong planning and analytical skills.
- Plan and prioritize multiple engagements at any given time.
- Structured approach towards continuously improving our processes and procedures.
- ITIL experienced.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
