Job Description

The Business Development Officer is responsible for penetrating industry specific accounts and creating new business. They are expected to develop and nurture relationships with partners to ensure their needs and expectations are met. They have the intermediate knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to carry out the tasks at their position level.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating and Acquiring New Spaces
  • Feasibility Studies of branches, new products, etc.
  • Facilitate Launching of New Products/ Concepts to branches and different departments
  • Oversee and Facilitate Branch Openings/ Transfers/ Renovations with Other Departments
  • Liaison between Third Party Partners, Organizations and Company
  • Oversee and Facilitate Events
  • Development of new business
  • Increase distributorship for the partner brands
  • Proposal creation appropriate for the requirement of the client
  • Communicates monitors and ensures proper billing and accreditation procedures
  • Enlist the support of technical specialist, implementation resources, service resources, and other
  • management resources for store openings
  • Draft and submit business proposals to prospected location
  • Create or improve the marketing plan employed by the company by studying the current situation of the market
  • Perform strategic functions and create development pipelines for the current and future plans of the company
  • Resolve hard negotiation issues and other issues that might arise between lessor
  • Acquiring New Distributors

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and planning skills;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of prior B2B sales experience
  • Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in 2 languages preferred
  • Flexibility - ability to work in a dynamic environment and not restricted by shifts.
  • Ability to grasp and present technology and the willingness to learn and unlearn.
  • Prior experience of working with a Sales CRM is an added plus.
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members
  • A high level of accountability and self-drive
