IT Support Engineer

Well good news, we have a spot open for an IT Support Engineer for our Manila office. An IT Support Engineer is responsible for all issues regarding the company’s systems and software. Our IT Support Engineers are crucial team players that not only make it easy for everyone else to do their jobs, but also educate them on how to make their work more efficient.

What you'll be doing

• Install new software and hardware components
• Assist with network administration tasks
• Resolve all issues your colleagues have with their IT systems and software
• Educate your colleagues about network security and best practices for computer usage
• Implement Security Policies in coordination with our Security Officer
• Support the Okta-based SSO and user management solution
• Manage corporate Microsoft Active Directory

What we are looking for

• Five years' work experience in a similar position
• Degree in computer science or related field is required
• An in-depth knowledge of various computer hardware and software technologies
• Strong experience with Microsoft windows, Active Directory, MacOS, Networking, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, VPN, Office 365, G-suite, SSO
• An aptitude for customer service
• Will to learn new things
• Curiosity and a problem-solving mindset
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

What would set you apart

• Industry Knowledge with FinTech
• Experience with Okta, SAML, Slack, MDM device management system, ITIL, Video conference(zoom or similar), Zapier, Integrations, API, SaaS, AWS, Linux, Javascript, MongoDB, Gitlab
• Experience working in a global organization
• Experience or interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain and/or financial technological skill sets
