Job Description
Role and responsibilities, and how will the role impact Slash?
Slash is looking for a dynamic Fullstack Software Engineer to build fast backends using Java Spring Boot powerful, and Angular front end, readable clean code, measurable, and testable for sophisticated enterprise-grade systems and fast-growing funded startups.
You will be a thought leader in the company:
- Driving frontend and backend development stacks best case practices, processes and standards throughout the company.
- Supporting solution architects, scrum masters, and development teams with delivering enterprise-grade backend systems to clients.
- We will rely on your technical leadership and ingenuity to stay up to date on the latest in frontend and backend development stacks, system integration, security, APIs, middlewares, cloud, DevOps.
Minimum Qualifications
How do you know if you are a good fit?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems (IS), Computer Science or
- related field, or equivalent related IT experience.
- Minimum three years of experience in professional enterprise software development and agile development methodology.
- Proficient in FE Angular, Typescript/Javascript.
- Strong experience in BE Java, Spring Boot, Junit5, Spring JMS/MQ.
- Experience in Automation testing using Cypress, Karma or Jasmine
- Experienced in cloud native application development using agile development methodology
- Solid foundation and experience in Unit Test automation is a must
- Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and pair programming is a strong plus.
- Experience on Docker and Kubernetes will be a plus.
- Knowledge on VMware Tanzu Application Services (TAS),
- Experienced in DevOps and building Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline will be a plus.
- Keen interest in learning about other technologies (such as, NextJS,, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Serverless, Machine Learning, Blockchain, etc)
- Strong in software engineering principles. (Clean Architecture, Domain Driven Design, SOLID principle, etc.)
- Able to analyze, propose and implement a solution using good software engineering principles.
- Proficient in oral & written English as primary language for communications. Strong written and oral communication skills to be able to convey complex
- concepts to non-technical constituents.
- Demonstrate good analytical skill to problem solving.
- Proactive during group discussions for system design, troubleshooting and solving technical challenges.
- Good team player who enjoys and is able to adapt to working in a fast-paced, high intensity team environment.
- Ability to explain concepts, share experience, transfer knowledge and upskill other team members.
- Take responsibilities and ownerships of the product development.
- Positive, self-motivated & resourceful individual who can complete tasks Independently.
- Willing to explore and learn new methods of doing things.
- Experience with working with clients is and working in an product or software agency is a plus
