Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares news releases, media advisories, interview guides, feature stories and other related materials;
- Assists in the preparation of contents for information dissemination materials such as flyers, newsletters and brochures;
- Prepares contents and/or stories for publication in TESDA social media accounts;
- Assists in the implementation of the communication plan;
- Assists in the preparation of contents of advertorials and audio-visual presentations;
- Provides editorial support to materials developed by the office;
- Drafts storyboards and scripts for development of audio-visual presentations and other information, education and communication materials;
- Drafts speeches souvenir messages, talk points, media briefer and other write-ups;
- Coordinates with ROPOs, individuals and other related organizations to secure data that will be used in the preparation of stories for publication;
- Assists in the coordination of the office in interviews and media appearances of TESDA officials;
- Maintains close coordination with media, especially during agency's press conferences, media coverages and media appearances; and
- Performs any other related functions as required by the superior.
Minimum Qualifications
- With bachelor's degree relevant to the job
- Preferably with at least one year of relevant experience
- With excellent English and Tagalog writing skills
- Must be a Filipino citizen
