Key Responsibilities

	<li>Quoting against network inquiries: Prepare, send out, and gather feedback against inquiries arriving from our network partners.
	<ul>
		<li>Basis of quotation: mainly CW and specially designated excel files, both LCL and FCL, mainly DAP destination quotations that could be set up from readily available ratelists, and communicated in written form in English.</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>Rate Card Creation: Build comprehensive rate cards in Excel based on specific client requests, focusing on various origin and destination port pairs.</li>
	<li>Margin Application: Accurately apply designated profit margins and pricing instructions provided by the Rate Card Manager to base rates.</li>
	<li>System Administration: Enter, update, and manage rate card data within the CargoWise TMS (Transportation Management System) and designated excel sheet</li>
	<li>Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding rate card inquiries. Answer questions related to freight validity, shipping line details, and port-to-port routing. This is to be negotiated internally still, communication especially with Hungarial local clients might face language barriers.</li>
	<li>Internal Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with the internal Sales and Operations teams.</li>
	<li>Quote Modification: Process client feedback (e.g., requests for rate reductions or route modifications), coordinate internally for approval, and update rate cards accordingly. See same as with customer communication.</li>
	<li>Operational Handover: Once a rate card receives a "green light" from the client, accurately transition the order to the Operational team for shipment execution.</li>

The Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer/Technical Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering technical solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC). The role involves customizing and extending Business Central functionality, integrating the system with internal and external applications, and supporting end-to-end implementation for various clients. The consultant ensures solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives across digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design &amp; Development

Design and develop extensions, custom modules, and enhancements for Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL language in Visual Studio Code.

Customize standard BC functionalities according to business and client requirements.

Build efficient and reusable technical solutions aligned with industry best practices.

2. Technical Consulting &amp; Requirements Analysis

Collaborate with business analysts, SMEs, and stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Recommend system improvements, architectural approaches, and configuration options based on business needs.

Conduct feasibility analysis for new features, integrations, and process improvements.

3. System Integration &amp; API Development

Develop integrations using Business Central APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and custom connectors.

Coordinate with internal technical teams to integrate BC with ERP components, finance systems, HRIS, CRM tools, or third-party applications.

Ensure stable, secure, and efficient data flow across systems.

4. SQL &amp; Data Management

Work with SQL databases for data migration, reporting, and backend processes.

Execute data transformation, cleansing, and migration during implementation or upgrades.

Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and optimize query performance.

5. Implementation &amp; Deployment

Support full lifecycle implementation—from system configuration to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT assistance.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

6. Ongoing Support &amp; Maintenance

Provide Level 2/3 technical support for Business Central environment issues.

Troubleshoot performance issues, bugs, and configuration challenges.

Deliver system training or technical guidance to internal teams or external clients when required.

7. Collaboration &amp; Project Delivery

Work closely with cross-functional teams across Yondu or NCS, including Delivery, PMO, QA, and Business Units.

Ensure all deliverables follow standards, timelines, and quality guidelines.

Participate in Agile ceremonies or project meetings as needed.
