The Mission

Ensure accurate carrier freight invoice validation and timely customer billing. This role primarily uses Navix for carrier invoice auditing and Turvo for customer invoicing, ensuring alignment between contracted rates, shipment details, accessorial charges, and internal billing procedures.

What You'll Do

	<li>Freight Invoice Auditing &amp; Discrepancy Management (Navix)

	<ul>
		<li>Audit carrier freight invoices in Navix against shipment documentation, contracted rate tables, and operational details.</li>
		<li>Validate transportation charges including linehaul, fuel surcharge, accessorials, reweigh/reclass, detention, liftgate, appointment, redelivery, inside delivery, and more.</li>
		<li>Identify billing discrepancies and initiate corrective actions, disputes, and adjustment tracking.</li>
		<li>Maintain accurate invoice coding, audit notes, and supporting documentation.</li>
		<li>Monitor invoice exception queues and ensure SLA compliance.</li>
		<li>Track recurring billing issues and recommend process improvements.</li>

		<li>Create and issue accurate customer invoices in Turvo based on shipment records, approved carrier charges, customer rate agreements, and billing rules.</li>
		<li>Verify margin integrity and ensure compliance with customer pricing agreements and SOPs.</li>
		<li>Ensure invoices contain all required shipment references to avoid payment delays.</li>
		<li>Compile and attach backup documents such as PODs, carrier invoices, and approvals.</li>
		<li>Resolve billing inquiries through detailed research and documentation.</li>

		<li>Coordinate with carriers, operations, and customer service teams to resolve disputes and correct shipment records.</li>

		<li>Escalate recurring issues, non-compliance, and documentation gaps to leadership.</li>

The Mission: 
To ensure every air import shipment reaches its destination efficiently and compliantly—by proactively identifying risks, resolving exceptions, and taking full ownership from arrival to delivery.

What You'll Do:

	<li>Own end-to-end air import shipments, from pre-alert to final delivery and billing closure</li>
	<li>Proactively identify and resolve shipment exceptions, including:</li>
	<li>Flight delays, rollovers, or offloads</li>
	<li>Missing or incorrect documentation</li>
	<li>Customs clearance issues or holds</li>
	<li>Cargo availability and handling delays</li>
	<li>Take decisive action to recover shipments at risk, coordinating with airlines, agents, brokers, and trucking providers</li>
	<li>Ensure compliance with U.S. import requirements, including coordination of AMS (Air AMS / ACAS) filings</li>
	<li>Validate shipment documents (MAWB/HAWB, invoice, packing list) and correct discrepancies before they impact clearance or delivery</li>
	<li>Monitor cargo arrival, free time, and warehouse status to prevent storage charges—act before issues escalate</li>
	<li>Communicate clearly with clients, not just updates but solutions and next steps when issues arise</li>
	<li>Escalate when needed—but only after exploring and driving possible resolutions</li>
	<li>Validate costs, flag discrepancies, and ensure accurate and timely billing</li>
	<li>Maintain accurate shipment records and milestone updates in TMS</li>
