	<li>Identity Automation: Treat Identity as the new perimeter. Manage Azure AD / Entra ID programmatically. Automate onboarding/offboarding via scripts (e.g., auto-provisioning Email, Slack, and Cloud access).</li>
	<li>Network Reliability: Manage office networking (Firewalls, VPNs) using configuration management rather than manual GUI clicking. We also expect you to optimize network performance, and perform network analysis and capacity planning.</li>
	<li>Self-Service Implementation: Build or configure tools that allow users to reset their own passwords, request software access, or troubleshoot common issues without human intervention.</li>

Cloud & System Engineer

<h2>Overview:</h2>

We are looking for a backend engineer who designs systems intentionally and uses AI-assisted development as a productivity tool and not as a replacement for engineering judgment.

Our primary backend stack is Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS. However, this role requires engineers who can adapt beyond a single stack when working with existing systems or client constraints (e.g. Python, Java).

You will work on client-facing backend systems where correctness, maintainability, and ownership matter. We also expect engineers to contribute to the team and company, not only through code, but through ideas, learning, and shared responsibility.

<h2>Responsibilities:</h2>

<ul>
	<li>Design, build, and maintain production-grade backend services, primarily using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.</li>
	<li>Own backend solutions end-to-end, including design, implementation, deployment, and production support.</li>
	<li>Build and maintain clean, explicit REST APIs.</li>
	<li>Make and defend architectural decisions based on clear trade-offs, not trends.</li>
	<li>Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and thoughtful refactoring.</li>
	<li>Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and observability.</li>
	<li>Work independently with frontend, QA, ML engineers, and client stakeholders.</li>
	<li>Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery while: 
	- critically reviewing AI-generated code 
	- owning correctness, security, and long-term maintainability</li>
	<li>Read, understand, debug, and extend backend systems written in other languages when required.</li>
	<li>Contribute beyond assigned tasks by:</li>
	<li>proposing improvements and new ideas 
	- sharing knowledge and learnings with the team 
	- mentoring other engineers when appropriate</li>

	<li>Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and respond to incidents with initial investigation and escalation when required.</li>
	<li>Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including access control and infrastructure security configurations.</li>
	<li>Maintain infrastructure documentation and continuously propose improvements to enhance system stability, efficiency, and scalability.</li>
