Who We Need

We need a Pricing and Quotation Specialist who can move fast and think commercially.

Someone who can turn around accurate rates and generate winning quotations within SLA—keeping the sales team equipped to close deals. You should be confident in sourcing rates, computing charges, and building competitive quotes with speed and precision.

If you thrive under pressure, manage volume with accuracy, and understand that every quote drives revenue—this role is for you.

 

What You'll Do:

<ul>
	<li>Rates &amp; Pricing Management - Take ownership of gathering, analyzing, and maintaining freight rates from carriers, co-loaders, and suppliers. Evaluate rate competitiveness and ensure pricing is aligned with market conditions and client requirements.</li>
	<li>Quotation Development - Prepare accurate and competitive quotations by computing end-to-end charges (freight, surcharges, duties, and other costs). Structure pricing strategically to support the sales team in winning business while protecting margins.</li>
	<li>Commercial Support to Sales - Work closely with the sales team to translate client requirements into tailored pricing solutions. Provide recommendations on rate strategy, cost breakdowns, and service options.</li>
	<li>Client Coordination - Serve as a key point of contact for quotation-related inquiries, ensuring timely responses, clear communication, and a smooth customer experience.</li>
	<li>Contract &amp; Vendor Management - Coordinate with carriers and partners to validate rates, clarify terms, and ensure all commercial agreements are accurate and up to date. Support renegotiations based on market trends and volume opportunities.</li>

What You'll Do:

		<li>Identify and research prospective carriers.</li>
		<li>Conduct outbound calls and email outreach to introduce partnership opportunities.</li>
		<li>Generate qualified carrier leads.</li>

	<li>Qualify Carriers

	<ul>
		<li>Assess carriers based on operating authority, insurance, equipment, service coverage, capacity, and compliance.</li>
		<li>Educate carriers on the benefits of joining the client's carrier network.</li>
		<li>Guide qualified carriers through the onboarding process or hand them off to the appropriate team.</li>
	</ul>

	<ul>
		<li>Work closely with Carrier Success, Operations, or Carrier Onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition.</li>
	</ul>

	<li>Pipeline &amp; CRM

		<li>Track outreach, qualification status, onboarding progress, and carrier engagement in the CRM.</li>
	</ul>
