We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to support our client's growing finance team. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, accounts payable and receivable, inventory accounting, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

Month-End Close &amp; Financial Reporting

<ul>
	<li>Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets.</li>
	<li>Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.</li>
	<li>Maintain accurate accounting records for trade spend, deductions, rebates, and other key accounts.</li>
	<li>Assist in preparing supporting schedules and documentation for financial reporting.</li>
</ul>

Inventory &amp; Cost Accounting

<ul>
	<li>Support inventory reconciliations across manufacturing and third-party logistics partners.</li>
	<li>Partner with Operations to reconcile inventory receipts and vendor billings.</li>
	<li>Assist in maintaining accurate inventory costing and valuation records.</li>
</ul>

ERP &amp; Systems Support

<ul>
	<li>Support ERP implementation and system enhancement initiatives, including migration activities.</li>
	<li>Maintain accurate financial data and accounting records within company systems.</li>
	<li>Assist with documenting accounting processes, controls, and procedures.</li>
</ul>

Accounts Payable &amp; Receivable

<ul>
	<li>Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment runs in a timely manner.</li>
	<li>Support customer billing, collections, and cash application activities.</li>
	<li>Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable subledgers to the general ledger.</li>
</ul>

Audit, Compliance &amp; Special Projects

<ul>
	<li>Assist with audit preparation, tax schedules, and external reporting requirements.</li>
	<li>Contribute to process improvement initiatives and finance-related projects.</li>
	<li>Support ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
