Treasury Supervisor | Disbursement  

JOB PURPOSE:

• Responsible in supervising the operation of accounts relative to processing of payment of company's payables.
• Accountable for Petty Cash Fund and Sodexo.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Receives the check vouchers/supporting documents processed under OU payment.
• Checks the correctness/completeness of check vouchers and its supporting documents under OU level as well as non-trade payables, and consolidated auto-credit payment vouchers received from Accounting.
• Issue Fund Transfer including Money Market Placement cheques corresponding to Payment Vouchers.
• Prints and confirms payment and generate List of Checks Printed Report.
• Responsible in advising provincial treasury branches for the issued MC to be delivered in their respective branches
• Ensures passbooks are updated on time
• Monitors timely receipts of bank statement.
• Updates the disbursing book balance in treasury system
• Checks the Transmittal slip covering Treasury Fund cheques to be forwarded to respective branches
• Checks the Transmittal slip of paid vouchers for transmittal to respective Accounting.
• Generates Cash Position Report and ensure that balances are adequate.
• Responsible in the processing of enrollment for new suppliers
• Handles encashment of Petty Cash Fund cheques.
• Conducts daily cash count of PCF and records the released cash via treasury system and ensure timely replenishment of fund.
• Handles releasing of Sodexo Premium Pass and prepares Sodexo Meal and Food Pass (SMFP) Disbursement Summary for timely replenishment.
• Handles requisition of Sodexo Premium Pass from SLA.
• Conducts monthly inventory of depository cheques.
• Checks the accuracy of details of Terminal Pay cheques of resigned regular/proby employees
• Maintains orderliness of work area to ensure systematic flow of work to prevent fire or other accidents.
• Ensures good housekeeping and proper maintenance/use of supplies/facilities/ equipment in the assigned area of responsibility.
• Implements safety and security control measures in consonance to corporate standards, which include security against any loss /damage/pilferage, fire prevention and of the building or part thereof and disposal of records and documents.
• Supports and meets Management decisions, requirements and expectations.
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate of 4-year course
• Preferably with Accounting/banking experience
• Trustworthy, with good moral character
• With pleasing personality
• Can train/guide staff
