Multimedia Designer | Remote  

The Multimedia Designer (MMD) is requiring versatility in the conceptualization and creation of visual graphics, illustrations, video content, and motion graphics for various marketing divisions of the company. He/she may also offer his/her expertise and creative collaboration when it comes to web, User Interface (UI), and User Experience (UX) design as needed for other services of the company

The MMD position entails developing media content for internal marketing, social media, search engine optimization, and website projects. The MMD will be expected to collaborate with members of the August 99 Internal Marketing and other internal clients to ensure that media content will be aligned with the specific marketing, branding, and business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate various graphic and video content within a set timeline to support and meet a specific marketing objectives.
• Ability to execute creative video concepts, from pre-production and storyboarding to post-production editing, motion graphics application, and necessary refinements
• Conceptualize, suggest, and implement key visuals following consistent design direction unique to each project.
• Come up with necessary graphic layouts and collateral that will present a client's branding strategy effectively.

  • Motion Graphics and GIF Animation

• Generate ideas to improve engagement in social media, either through gamification or other interactive content
• Analyze, and develop the best digital media materials that will help improve search engine visibility and overall performance of marketing projects.
• Work with fellow Designers, Marketing and Content teams to make sure designs are developed based on set strategies and goals.
• Onsite involvement in video production including photo and video shoots, Livestream events, and production support activities
• Basic photography and videography skills
• Follow departmental tasking, documentation, archiving, and reporting procedures.
• Research, document, implement and maintain best practices in design.
• Develop design processes that will help improve workflow and increase efficiency within the collaborating teams.
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to make sure that all tasks are up to date, and that all outputs are of high quality and delivered on time.

Job Requirements:

• Expert knowledge in video editing software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro
• Knowledge of various graphic and web software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Lightroom, and Google Suite
• Experience in graphic design, video production, social media, and web design content and development is preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
