FP&A Analyst | Remote  

Job Summary:

As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the multi-year financial model of the company. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, analyzing variances, and collaborating with team leaders to adjust projections based on actual performance. Your role will focus on constantly improving the model's robustness and usability while providing critical insights through variance analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of Financial Model: Manage and own the multi-year financial model of the company, ensuring its accuracy and reliability from a formulaic perspective.
• Projection Accuracy: Proactively assess and validate numbers and projections, reaching out to team leaders for discussions on adjustments based on actual performance, closely coordinating with the CFO.
• Model Enhancement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the financial model's accuracy, robustness, and usability, improving the quality of output available for decision-making.
• Update and Maintenance: Keep the financial model up-to-date based on the latest actual monthly numbers, ensuring alignment with current financial performance.
• Monthly Variance Analysis: Provide comprehensive monthly variance analysis between budget and actual figures, delivering insights and reports to various team members.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making for the company

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, with a strong focus on maintaining financial models.
• Proficiency in financial software tools such as Bill . com, QuickBooks Online, and Sage Intacct.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience in building and managing complex financial models.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating cross-functionally.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to provide meaningful insights through variance analysis.
• Strategic thinking and ability to make data-driven recommendations.
