Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using Python and Django.

Work closely with our front-end team to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.

Implement secure and scalable APIs to support web applications and services.

Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to operations and activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

At least 2 years of experience in software development with a focus on Python and Django.

Solid understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.

Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Familiarity with database technology such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Angular.

Experience in working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

A knack for benchmarking and optimization.

Experience in TDD/BDD methodologies.
