Job Description
We are a looking for a candidate with a proactive mindset, can do attitude, strong organization skills to be the local point of contact responsible for HR and Operational related matters both environmental (operational) and personal (hr). This individual sits across functional teams as a link between the respective line managers and team members specific to their location. Their day to day focuses on driving employee happiness and retention through improving local working conditions & environment, overseeing benefits, company incentives, team building celebrations, monitoring local team member dynamics and reporting to respective line managers. This person provides a confidante link between remote managers and local team members.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the continuous improvement of local office environment including facilities, brand to maximize team member satisfaction.
- Oversee relationships between local facilities vendors and the company.
- Own and organise team events and team building exercises.
- Own and conduct recruitment campaigns including pre-screening working closely with line managers on candidates.
- Own responsibility for smooth onboarding of new team members including training, desk setups, induction to help new team members assimilate as quickly as possible.
- Identify communication or expectation mismatches between company and team members, reporting these to line managers.
- Monitor attendance & tardiness and provide in depth reporting to line managers weekly on unplanned absences.
- Own responsibility for team member contracts including new hires, organizing and documenting reviews and role changes.
- Own, Monitor and manage individual and team KPI’s for reviews, incentive programs and for reporting directly to line managers.
- Own time and attendance reporting to provide accurate data to finance team for payroll via our HRIS system.
Additional Duties
- Keep a record of any issues, updates, and progress accurately and comprehensively within our systems
- Document all process updates and organize them in centralised system
- Advocate for team members
Office based role in the heart of Eastwood City - Day Shift
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications and experience
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- 4yrs+ Experience in Human Resources, General Admin and/or Operational Supervision
- Experience working for international companies/teams (AU, US, UK)
- Process based midset
