Job Description
The role will ensure that internal controls are effective/in place and that processes are enhanced/strengthened to support business operations.
- Lead the quarterly financial review and assessment of internal controls, identify control gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen control environment and resolve control deficiencies.
- Ensure controls are in place to effectively manage inventory at the stores and distribution center (DC)
- Standardize, improve, automate processes such as, but not limited to, payments, collections, account reconciliations by working collaboratively with business and process owners and apply/implement best practices for managing internal controls
- Support inventory control team in ensuring inventory records accuracy and ensuring proper implementation of inventory management at stores and DC.
- Ensure store and DC’s completion of action plans to address audit findings.
Minimum Qualifications
- A CPA/CIA with at least 5 years of work experience,
- Preferred experience in retail operations
- Exposure to Finance, Sales, and/or Distribution Center operations and understanding of the related internal control framework
- Detail oriented, organized and communicates across different levels of the organization
- Agility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities ▪ Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
