Job Description

The Digital Marketing Associate must possess a thorough understanding of digital marketing principles and sales. This position is a highly visible and hybrid role having a direct impact on the success of the marketing team and has direct involvement in the success of the company in terms of ROI and growth. In this role, you are expected to be domain support in digital marketing, social media, and campaigns to reach more prospective clients. Adequate support of the content strategy of the company to generate highly qualified inbound and outbound leads for the business development team to convert and close as a client.

Job Responsibilities

Marketing Operations Enablement and Support (60%)

  • Support digital marketing activities and ensure performance KPIs are met (brand presence/reach, lead generation, and campaign amplification)
  • Work with agencies and internal teams to plan, create and implement content/support for various digital channels
  • Explore different marketing and social media channels that we can promote our brand
  • Generate regular reports, including channel performance and social media listening analysis
  • Proactively raise errors on the website and suggest/create digital campaigns to boost website performance
  • Coordinate creation and production of high-quality content
  • Coordinate and ensure that every department adheres to the company's brand guidelines
  • Passion and strong understanding of the staffing/offshoring/outsourcing industry and company's goals and translating that into actionable action items that will benefit the company and our target audiences and ensure to incorporate the target keywords that we would rank on Google, Bing, and other Search Engines:
  • Clients/Prospective Clients - based in the USA and Canada (priority) - create copies that generate leads or appointments for the Business Dev team to close as clients.
  • Applicants/Sourcing/Recruitment/Independent Contractor (Global Reach - example: Philippines, India, South Africa, Pakistan, and more)
  • Brand awareness/Content ideas for social media/Online reputation and PR - Generate regular speaking engagements and interviews for company stakeholders. Protect the company's online reputation
  • Partner/Affiliate Marketing Program
  • Internal Team/Existing Contractors/Core Team
  • Understand and create messaging that aligns with our buyer personas' interests and needs
  • Creation and tracking of UTMs to track lead journey
  • Coordinating with an SEO agency partner and outreach to the third-party vendor
  • Provide feedback to other contributors and edit other writers' content.
  • Grow blog/newsletter subscribers and expand the overall blog's reach.
  • Respond to audiences comments on the blog, article, and resources section on the website
  • Create grammatically clean long-form copy and effective headlines, taglines, calls-to-action, blog posts, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Core Team to ensure creative concepts, tactics, and copy are in line with company style, voice, and messaging/keywords
  • Audit search engine optimized content based on strategically identified keywords
  • Initiate and participate in consultations with the Marketing Director and CORE team to ensure the implementation of intelligent, creative strategies
  • Complete execution of all marketing efforts to ensure delivery of client materials on strategy, on budget, and schedule
  • Work closely with department heads, social media & creative managers, and Interns to understand and follow established systems and best practices for marketing

High-Performance Lead Generation (20%)

  • Conducts research to identify potential prospects (contact list building for cold and warm contacts)
  • Does proper lead verification, and suitable qualification of leads (e.g., BANT, CHAMP, MEDDIC, or other qualification frameworks)
  • Does email marketing/outreach, LinkedIn outreach (manual and automated)
  • Do AB and multivariate testing
  • Linkedin profile and sales nav optimization for lead generation
  • Follows up on high-quality leads to generate MQLs (marketing qualified leads)
  • Sustain meaningful sales touches with leads and prospects to push the leads down to the middle part of the sales funnel
  • Makes one-off emails, LinkedIn messages, etc., and initiates conversations with a prospective client to generate or book a sales meeting or sales discovery call
  • Do data cleansing, lead scoring, lead segmentation, and hyper-targeting
  • Do strategic appointment setting
  • Manages a high volume of B2B (Business to Business) prospecting (email, LinkedIn, and other channels)
  • Responds to outbound leads promptly
  • Effectively builds and manages a lead generation pipeline.
  • Collaborate with channel-specific makers (email, social media, blogging, graphic designers, etc.) to optimize each conversion path.
  • Ensures that we are 100% compliant with regulatory requirements of the CAN-SPAM Act for email outreach and FTC telemarketing rules
  • Support in managing the entire marketing tech stack (e.g., cold outreach tools)
  • Attend business networking events and meetings as required by Marketing Director and Co-Founders

Primary KPI (Lead Generation)

  • Lagging Metric: 2 MQLs (min.) per week to start (macro-conversion)
  • This should be a qualified lead satisfying the BANTF lead qualification model (budget, authority, need, timeline, and fit with the company's business model and moving on the sales funnel), and the prospect should attend the meeting
  • The timeline should be from urgent to 1 month
  • MQL (Marketing Qualified Lead) = Lead Qualification (BANTF) + Scheduled Meeting + Attended Meeting
  • KPIs target will be adjusted monthly or as the Marketing Director sees fit. The default minimum is 2 MQLs per week

Organization, Calendar, Drives, Folders, Trackers, Reports, and Dashboards (20%):

  • File organization: Does proper file naming, and folder structure and follows a standard naming convention, and documentation (Canva, Personal Drive, Marketing Drive, Personal Mailbox, Department Mailbox)
  • Drive and file ownership: Transfer all files ownership to the marketing email and relocate individual files to the marketing drive
  • Practicing the zero inbox method on both personal and departmental mailboxes and other inboxes (Social Media)
  • Ensures consistent use of calendar blocking method and usage of Time Doctor with high integrity
  • Ensures data are matching with the business intelligence tools we are using: HubSpot Airtable, Manual Tracking, with other data sources
  • Do effective data management in compliance with the 6 dimensions of data quality (Completeness, Consistency, Conformity, Accuracy, Integrity, and Timeliness) when working with raw data, files, reports, dashboards, campaigns, etc.
  • Suppression list management: DNC List, Opt-out List, Unsubscribe List
  • Create and manage content spend reports and the likes
  • Generates and submits required reports to the Director of Marketing and Founders

Minimum Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Strong Communication skills: efficient, effective, sharing with context, considering the audience/impact, and timely transfer of information and responses
  • Creative thinker with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
  • Familiarity with Hubspot tools to segment leads by lifecycle stage in the top funnel and engage accordingly
  • You will be our ear to the ground to complete action items and route the appropriate marketer, sales rep, or admin sales support
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills
  • Excellent in both written and spoken English language
  • Has basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Must be able to work on 9 am to 6 pm Eastern Time work schedule, weekends, and holidays, as needed

Functional competencies and minimum qualifications

  • Competent in maximizing resources: Use free online tools to research and analyze content - and recommend effectively to stakeholders if we need to use paid tools.
  • Experience with Ahrefs, SEMRush, MOZ, Ubersuggests, and similar is a plus.
  • Organized, very high attention to detail, and the ability to spot errors, typos, and inconsistencies
  • Strategic in maximizing online sources: internal resources (trackers, reports, Airtable, etc.), googling, finding answers on LinkedIn, YT tutorials, LinkedIn Learning, HubSpot, Learning, maximizing chat/CS supports, etc.
  • Familiarity with Boolean search techniques
  • Familiarity in working with a marketing tech stack
  • Must be proficient in various computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to understand and analyze complex processes quickly and accurately
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects that will be assigned from time to time
  • Has a strong work ethic and possesses a can-do attitude when faced with challenges
  • Ability to liaise with company team members regardless of designation or role locally or in the US
  • Ability to focus, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to adapt to a western work culture environment

Education & Work Background

  • 1-6 years of marketing and digital marketing/social media experience
  • B.S. / B.An in Business, Marketing, Or Advertising preferred but not required or at least a 4-year college degree holder
  • Experience using Google Digital Marketing/Advertising Products such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and the like
  • Experience using cold outreach platforms, lead gen tools, email marketing automation, or marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Pardot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Klenty, Lemlist, Clickback, Expandi, Snov.io, Instantly
  • Experience using data intelligence and contact list building tools: Clearbit, Zoominfo, Apollo, FindThatLead, etc.
  • Experience in building email copy for email sequences, cadences, and one-off emails
  • Background in improving email deliverability, familiarity with senders authentication, and sender's reputation
  • Experience in generating inbound leads / MQLs (Marketing Qualified Lead)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills
