The Marketing Manager is a role under the Agent Image division of August 99, Inc. This is a people-centric and results-oriented role focused on coordinating the efforts and talent of the marketing team in order support company brand objectives through strategic marketing initiatives.
This is a critical role behind the success of the brand since it means having a mastery of various and simultaneous project goals, as well as being able to coordinate multiple resources and oversee production and operations on a daily basis. The Marketing Manager role demands for excellence from each member of the team in being able to fully deliver marketing material on time and up to brand standards, with a high level of accountability and drive for success. This role requires high level communication to ensure all brand marketing goals are clearly aligned from planning, to production and final implementation.
Responsibilities:
Production Expectations and Deliverables:
- Responsible for the day-to-day execution of marketing objectives through direct team coordination and efficient task management
- Manages project boards, project resources, and production schedules, serving as both task manager and immediate approver for brand and quality standards
- Manages marketing deliverables including but not limited to:
- brand promotion
- webpages
- email campaigns
- template creation
- content renovation
- graphics creation
- social media content creation
- paid advertising campaigns
- video content creation
- event marketing collateral creation
- print marketing
- Provides actionable insights based on data analysis to determine campaign success and notable areas for improvement
- Encourages and cultivates the marketing team members skills and continued improvement in their respective fields
Design and Direction:
- Streamlines the start-to-finish marketing processes from brainstorming to research, page design to page conversion, scheduling, and deployment, monitoring and analysis, and providing valuable editorial input at every step
- Mastery of brand guidelines and upholds visual standards consistent with the brand’s overall objective
- Is up-to-date and very familiar with all of the brand’s products and services
- Regularly reviews and conducts retrospective analysis on the existing portfolio of work
Management and Coordination:
- Clearly communicates marketing objectives to design, copy and development team members
- Collaborates with team members to ensure all creative assets meet objectives and all deliverables meet critical deadlines
- Identifies needed resources and makes recommendations on software tools and standards
- Secures approvals from stakeholders for all marketing deliverables
- Prepares reports and presentations as needed for retrospectives, analysis and strategic planning
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience working with a variety of marketing strategies and channels, including email marketing, website maintenance, content development, blogging, social media and event marketing
- Thorough understanding of the marketing funnel, the design process, project management principles, managing client relationships, and steps in the customer journey
- Awareness of good user experience practices and core concepts of digital marketing
- Experience in working in high traffic/quick turnaround environment
- Critical and methodical thinker
- High attention to detail
- Self starter
- Well informed of current marketing trends
- Working knowledge of task management and CRM software (Salesforce, Asana)
- Working knowledge of bulk email software platforms along with email best practices
- Experience with core design programs in the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and Google Suite programs
- At least 4 years’ experience in a key marketing role
- At least 4 years’ experience managing creative initiatives
- Must have perfect English written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred
