Job Description
Join a cross-functional digital team working on a customer-facing utility management app.
The platform serves thousands of residential and commercial users, helping them manage billing, payments, and service requests efficiently. We're improving core features and expanding new services.
We are looking for a mid-career UI/UX Designer to help deliver a seamless, modern user experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Must-have
- 1–3 years of experience in UI/UX Design, with a focus on mobile-first solutions
- Proficiency in Figma (components, auto layout, prototyping, design libraries)
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Ability to create or support basic UI animations (e.g., animated icons or simple transitions)
- A portfolio showing strong visual design skills and understanding of UX fundamentals
- Experience with responsive design and basic accessibility principles
- Ability to communicate design decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical teammates
Nice-to-have
- Experience working on apps related to utilities, billing, fintech, or account management
- Familiarity with agile workflows and tools like Jira
- Interest in improving real-world digital services used by a broad and diverse user base
