Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Finance and Accounting Associate to join our finance team. This position is ideal for a skilled professional with a strong background in accounting, finance, and financial analysis, ready to take on greater responsibility and contribute to the company’s strategic financial operations. As a Senior Finance and Accounting Associate, you will play a key role in overseeing financial transactions, preparing reports, ensuring compliance, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and provide insights on profitability, cost savings, and financial performance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Manage vendor relationships and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Reconcile AP/AR accounts on a regular basis and investigate discrepancies as needed.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Collaborate with departments to align budgeting with financial goals.
General Ledger Maintenance and Reconciliation:
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including month-end and year-end close processes.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy in account balances.
Compliance and Internal Controls:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard assets and improve efficiency.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as needed.
Process Improvement and Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function.
- Implement best practices and streamline accounting and finance processes for greater efficiency.
- Support automation initiatives and system enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a preference for experience in a senior or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not required).
- Must be able to work night shift in Philippine time (US-based clients)
