Backend Developer (NET)  

Employment Type: Contract (6 months, extendable)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Back-End Developer (.NET) to enhance and maintain our Digital Web App system. The ideal candidate has strong experience with C#, API development, and database performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance backend features for the existing Digital Web App.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs for integration with front-end and external systems.
• Optimize database queries and perform code-level performance tuning.
• Debug and resolve issues during the testing stage.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and business analysts to ensure seamless integration.
• Maintain proper documentation for code and system modifications.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in .NET Framework / .NET Core development using C#.
• Proven skills in API programming and integration.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, tuning).
• Understanding of object-oriented design and secure coding standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, BitBucket, SVN).
• Knowledge of insurance or financial systems is an advantage.
