- General Ledger (GL) Maintenance: Perform daily accounting entries, prepare journal entries, and conduct detailed account reconciliations (e.g., bank, payroll, prepaid expenses, fixed assets).
- Month-End Close: Actively participate in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned duties and maintaining supporting documentation.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of internal financial statements, management reports, and analysis as required by the Senior Accountant or Controller.
- Audit & Compliance: Support external audits by preparing requested documentation, schedules, and work papers. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and GAAP.
- Intercompany: Manage and reconcile basic intercompany transactions, if applicable.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting or public accounting.

Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (gaap). High proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlooksup) and accounting software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

GAAP Certification

Have experience working in a US-based company
