RN Medical Biller Coding Specialist  

Key Responsibilities

Process and submit U.S. medical claims accurately and on time.

Perform ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding based on provider documentation.

Monitor and follow up on AR, including 90+ and 120+ day accounts.

Handle claim denials, rejections, and insurance appeals.

Follow up on unpaid, delayed, and underpaid claims.

Post insurance payments, adjustments, and patient balances accurately.

Review billing and coding for errors and discrepancies.

Track claims, AR aging, denials, and collections.

Meet assigned deadlines and SLAs.

Follow HIPAA, payer, and U.S. healthcare billing requirements.

Identify recurring billing issues and recommend RCM improvements.

Coordinate with the clinic team to improve claims accuracy, collections, and reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in U.S. medical billing, medical coding, or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
• CPC, CPB, CCS, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare billing and insurance processes.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy requirements.
• Experience handling confidential patient
• information.
• Strong claims processing, AR management, denial/appeal handling, and insurance verification skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to undergo additional RCM/eCW training as needed.
