Job Description

The Lead Developer will play a vital role in development projects, actively contributing to the entire application lifecycle with a primary focus on coding, debugging, and ensuring the delivery of well-crafted and functional web applications.

Responsibilities encompass completing project deliverables, which include but are not limited to design, coding, QA, and troubleshooting. A crucial aspect of this role is the ability to articulate technical details, facilitating effective communication to maintain strong internal and external client relationships.

We are seeking agile and accountable individuals who can engage effectively throughout the development cycle of projects. Meticulous attention to detail is essential, ensuring 100% accuracy and quality in all project deliverables.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Technical:
    • Work within the client's code base and technical architecture.
    • Lead coding and debugging efforts throughout the application lifecycle.
    • Write clean code to develop high-quality web applications.
    • Troubleshoot and debug applications for optimal performance.
    • Conduct UI tests to enhance user experience.
    • Manage advanced technologies to modernize legacy applications.
    • Collaborate with developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
    • Gather and address technical and design requirements.
    • Provide training and support to internal teams.
    • Develop reusable code and libraries for future use.
    • Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features.
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies.
  • Task Versatility:
    • Undertake a variety of tasks across different functions, showcasing adaptability and versatility as a key strength.
    • Provide support for both new and existing accounts, addressing needs such as onboarding, vacancies, coverage, and other account-related matters.
  • Workforce Optimization:
    • Collaborate with teams to ensure the equitable distribution of workload among Individual Contributors (ICs) in high-volume scenarios.
  • Core Values Alignment:

  • Resource Deployment:
    • Take a proactive role in being deployed to new or existing accounts based on staffing requirements.
    • Serve as the designated Operations Specialist for resource deployment, ensuring strategic allocation of personnel to meet operational needs.

    • Embrace a jack-of-all-trades approach by continuously expanding skill sets through training.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance capabilities and adapt to evolving operational needs.
  • Special Projects:
    • Undertake additional tasks and special projects as assigned, showcasing the ability to take on diverse responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages and frameworks like Java, Ruby, PHP and Python, dotnet, C#, F#, and Cloud Development Platforms like Azure (Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Basic Web API), AWS and GCP
  • At least 7 years of proven work experience as a Lead developer or related experience.
  • Working knowledge of CMS framework
  • Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
  • Demonstrated experience in handling diverse responsibilities and tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using office software and collaboration tools
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to contribute positively to team dynamics and foster strong working relationships
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Demonstrated capacity to analyze situations and propose effective solutions
  • Flexibility to transition between different roles and responsibilities as needed.
