Technical Writer  

Job Summary:

• Document the Information Security Policies and IT Operational Procedures

Job Description:

• Determine the technical documentation requirements of end users
• Work with teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of technical information, documentation content and requirements
• Organize and write supporting documents
• Organize and write Information Security Policies and IT Operational Procedures
• Select appropriate medium for message or audience, such as manuals or online videos
• Standardize content across platforms and systems
• Revise documents, as needed

Technical Skills:

• Previous technical experience highly desired

Soft Skills:

• Knowledge of information gathering, planning and organizing methods and principles
• Familiarity with conventions in form, structure, and notation of technical writing
• Strong understanding of document formatting and presentation techniques
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
• Knowledge of writing style guidelines

Minimum Years of Experience:

• 2-3 years hands-on technical writing and editing experience, with specific experience in documenting Information Technology policies/guidelines, procedures, system architecture
• Educational Background: College graduate, IT-related course is an advantage
