Job Description
The position is responsible for leading and managing the successful planning, execution, and completion of technology projects, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders, ultimately, driving the the achievement of the intended business outcomes in collaboration with the project owner and the key project stakeholders.
Additionally, the Senior IT Project Manager is expected to assist the IT PPD team in the implementation & cascade, operationalization and compliance monitoring of the project delivery framework, including advocating it in the entire organization, as well as to help out in the continuous improvement of the process.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any 4-year business course
- Has more than 7 years of extensive experience managing IT projects of various complexities and performing functions from project initiation until project closing. Demonstrated solid experience in various project management approaches, namely traditional (waterfall) and agile (iterative/Scrum).
- Managed projects with a sponsor at an executive level and with at least 10 cross-functional project team members
- Leads / manages at least 5 IT projects of varying complexities either as the lead IT Project Manager, Senior IT Project Manager or as a Program Manager.
- Training attendance in globally accepted Project Management Standards (e.g., pmbok, prince2, scrum); Certification on PM standards such as PMP, Agile PM, or Scrum is required.
