Corporate Strategy Executive  

The position is responsible for managing the process through which Aboitiz Power (AP) decides on long-term direction and sets strategic goals to help AP maintain and increase its competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the process to develop, align, document, and monitor AP strategies
2. Lead single and/or manage multiple Strategy and cross-functional workstreams (e.g., issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, and synthesis of recommendations)
   • Model and forecast long-term market prices and key trends, including key commodities and technologies
   • Gather and analyze information on industry and competition, locally and abroad, including in-depth understanding of key players
   • Monitor, assess and evaluate the impact of potential industry disruptors (technology, legal, political) to AP strategy
   • Develop feasibility studies for new business models and projects
3. Develop Strategy manager capabilities through on-the-job coaching and feedback
4. Support senior management to spot, assess, and take decisions to capture opportunities / mitigate risk
5. Engage with external stakeholders and represent AP in select external activities / executive forums
6. Present findings to key AP stakeholders

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or any 4-year related course
• Master's Degree, preferred
• Minimum 5 years in either a strategy, corporate planning or business development role or in a consulting, investment banking, investing, equity research role.
• Significant experience in the electricity and/or power sector.
• Experience in market modelling using forecast tools (e.g. Emcas, Marketsym, Plexos, Origin), preferred
