We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Management Assto support and manage various localization and content-related projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, editing, and communication skills, and the ability to source qualified linguists to support multilingual deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Break projects into actionable tasks and set clear timeframes and deliverables.
- Source, assess, and onboard qualified interpreters and translators to ensure linguistic needs of projects are met efficiently and with high quality.
- Edit and proofread English/Tagalog documents to correct errors in both content and style.
- Coordinate project management activities, timelines, resources, and information flow.
- Develop, screen, and curate project resources and networks.
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
- Strategize and implement quality assurance measures applicable to all project phases and resources.
- Help prepare and monitor project budgets.
- Ensure adherence to different writing styles, formats, and syntax, with a strong focus on translation accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor project progress and proactively handle issues or delays.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Ensure all standards and requirements are met by conducting regular quality checks.
- Develop metrics and tracking systems for quality assurance.
- Conceptualize, execute, and measure strategies for attracting both local and international linguists.
- Improve quality processes and optimize workflows across handled projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Office Management, Legal Management, or any related field.
- Experience in sourcing and managing freelance or contract-based professionals (preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in proofreading and editing is preferred.
- Experience with legal documents and terminology is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Filipino.
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to quality.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
