In this critical role, you will be incharge in ensuring timely and accurate inventory accounting by maintaining integrity of inventory records, validating transactions, and supporting audit readiness. The Inventory Accountant supports the organization’s profitability by reducing inventory variances and contributing to informed inventory-related decisions.

2. Zero Unexplained Variances – All discrepancies are investigatedand resolved within reporting timelines
3. Timely Month-End Close – All inventory entries, adjustments, andsupporting schedules submitted on or before deadlines

You Should Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or Internal Audit
• At least 2–3 years of experience in inventory accounting (preferably in FMCG)
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP system
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Detail-oriented and process-driven
• Inventory account reconciliation experiencce\
• Preparation of journal entries for inventory adjustments
• Cycle count and audit support
• Monitoring of in-transit, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory
• Inventory reports for internal use and audit requirements
