Job Description:
- Manage daily operations of servers and virtualization environments.
- Monitor server, virtual machine (VM), and resource performance.
- Perform installation and configuration of server operating systems.
- Provision and maintain virtual machines (VMware).
- Handle hardware and software incident troubleshooting.
- Perform backup and restore activities and provide basic Disaster Recovery (DR) support.
- Execute patch management and operating system hardening.
- Coordinate with Network, Storage, and Security teams.
- Maintain documentation including SOPs, incident reports, and change records.
- Provide on-call support and work in shifts as required by Data Center operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirement:
- 1–3 years of experience in Data Center Operations or System Administration.
- Hands-on experience managing enterprise servers (Dell / HPE / Lenovo).
- Proficient in Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with VMware virtualization.
- Involved in daily operations, monitoring, and incident handling.
- Basic experience in backup and restore procedures.
- Willing to work in shifts and provide on-call support in a Data Center environment.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
