Become a Tour Guide for Quezon City Tourism Department!
Join our dynamic team of tour guides at the Quezon City Government that showcases the rich culture and history of our city! As a tour guide, you’ll plan exciting travel itineraries, lead tour groups, and ensure that our tourists will have a safe and enjoyable experience. Plus, you’ll be at the forefront of what’s new and latest in Quezon City.
Responsibilities:
- Lead tours around the city, share interesting stories and facts
- Plan and modify itineraries that suit different group interests
- Ensure the safety and comfort of the group
- Stay updated with new local attractions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- A degree in Tourism or a related field
- Excellent conversational and storytelling skills
- A friendly, engaging personality with a sense of humor
- Strong organizational and improvisational abilities
- Passionate about travel and meeting new people
- Willingness to work beyond office hours, on weekends and on holidays
- Strong interest in history and be knowledgeable about current events in the city and country
- Eager to learn and undergo training
- Must be physically fit to stand/walk for long periods
