SMS Perkasa is looking for a Strategic Digital Marketing Specialist as a bridge between digital noise and high-quality sales opportunities. In this AI-driven era, we aren't looking for a button-pusher; we need a critical thinker who understands the "why" behind every piece of content and can architect narratives that turn browsers into buyers.
We need a content architect—someone who can humanize the steel industry through storytelling and use an analytical mind to feed the right data and prompts into AI tools to generate superior, high-converting outputs. What Will You Impact? (Your Responsibilities)
- Strategic Lead Generation: Design and execute performance marketing strategies (Search, Social, Display) with a laser focus on attracting qualified leads for the Sales team, rather than just vanity metrics.
- Critical Funnel Analysis: Constantly audit the customer journey. You must identify where prospects drop off and use data-driven insights to improve the conversion rate from a "click" to a "ready-to-buy" lead.
- AI-Enhanced Strategy: Orchestrate AI tools to scale content and ads, ensuring that you provide the strategic direction and high-quality prompts necessary to get results that stand out from the generic AI crowd.
- Content Architecture & Pillar Development: Define, develop, and manage contents that align with our brand mission across multiple channels and forms (video, blogs, social media content, etc)
- Strategic Storytelling & Narrative Management: Translate complex technical specifications of steel and building materials into a cohesive content ecosystem, ensuring an end-to-end narrative that builds authority and trust.
- SEO & Digital Asset Growth: Develop and oversee SEO strategies that position our digital assets as the go-to authority in the construction industry, ensuring our content pillars are both discoverable and valuable.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales team to feedback lead quality and with the Tech team to ensure our digital channels provide a seamless user experience.

Minimum Qualifications
What Do You Need to Bring to the Table?
- Critical Thinking (Strategic Content Direction): The ability to architect a marketing and content strategy from scratch. You must be able to compile comprehensive content pillars and "think before you prompt," delivering the strategic direction to AI so it produces results-driven output.
- Storytelling Mastery (Content Narrative): Exceptional skills in narrative construction. You can turn "steel bars" into a compelling story about safety, legacy, and innovation, ensuring the brand voice is consistent and trust-building across all digital touchpoints.
- Analytical Thinking (Content Optimization): A deep curiosity for performance data. You don't just post content; you analyze how it performs to decode human behavior, identifying which stories drive the most qualified leads and optimizing the pillars accordingly.
- Visual & Design Mastery: Proficiency in graphic design and video editing for quick, high-impact content iterations. Skilled in Figma, CapCut, Canva, and Adobe to create professional visuals and video content that support your stories.
- Technical Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using essential marketing and research tools like Ahrefs to analyze competitors, conduct keyword research, and ensure our content strategy is data-backed.
- AI Fluency: Comfortable using AI tools for research, content drafting, and data analysis, with a deep understanding of how to "steer" the AI to achieve specific strategic goals.
- Experience: Minimal 2 years of experience in a Digital Marketing role, with a strong portfolio of content-driven lead generation and strategic planning.
- Language: Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Technical Advertising Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Google Ads (PPC), Meta Ads, and Web Analytics (Google Analytics 4).
- CRM Knowledge: Experience working with CRM systems to track lead-to-deal conversion.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the construction, manufacturing, or building materials industry.
