Software Engineer  

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET 5 or above, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure proper API documentation, integration standards, and system reliability.
• Design and implement efficient database structures, SQL queries, and database operations using DML, DDL, and other SQL programming techniques.
• Develop and maintain responsive application interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, and UI frameworks such as Telerik Kendo UI.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, and application design specifications.
• Perform system integration testing (SIT), support user acceptance testing (UAT), and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure application quality.
• Support security testing activities, including penetration testing, vulnerability remediation, and implementation of recommended security improvements.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions to improve system performance and stability.
• Manage source code and collaborate with development teams using Git and established version control practices.
• Contribute to application deployment, environment configuration, and containerized application management where applicable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA engineers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders, to deliver effective software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development, with strong hands-on experience in .NET 5 or above, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), object-oriented programming (OOP), and software engineering best practices.
• Proven experience in API development, system integration, technical documentation, and application design diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS), including database design, SQL queries, DML, DDL, and query optimization.
• Good programming skills in JavaScript, particularly jQuery; experience with Telerik Kendo UI is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with software testing processes, including SIT, UAT support, debugging, and penetration testing or security remediation.
• Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Keycloak for identity and access management, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with Redis for caching and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch for search functionality, indexing, and data retrieval.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration for application deployment and management.
• Knowledge of application security, performance tuning, and scalable enterprise application architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
