Laboratorium Klinik Prodia didirikan pertama kali di Solo, Jawa Tengah, pada tanggal 7 Mei 1973 oleh beberapa orang idealis berlatar belakang pendidikan farmasi. Sejak awal, Drs. Andi Wijaya, MBA, PhD. beserta seluruh pendiri lainnya tetap menjaga komitmen untuk mempersembahkan hasil pemeriksaan terbaik dengan layanan sepenuh hati. Komitmen itulah yang mengantarkan Prodia menjadi Laboratorium Klinik terbaik dan terbesar di Indonesia seperti sekarang ini serta menjadi pusat rujukan nasional.
Sejak 2012, Prodia merupakan satu-satunya laboratorium klinik di Indonesia dengan akreditasi College of American Pathologists (CAP) sehingga kualitas hasil pemeriksaan dari Prodia sejajar dengan laboratorium internasional.
